Did you flip a switch Guy?

Did you flip a switch Guy?

4 leagues I had been waiting on filling for quite a while all filled in a day, was this was a League purging or consolidation day?

Not complaining because I did want them to start, but 4 teams all Supplemental Drafting at the same time is keeping me busy

Re: Did you flip a switch Guy?

Same for me, it's great but seems like something changed and everything filled.

Re: Did you flip a switch Guy?

With the launch of the new homepage, I removed the ability for users to add bots manually, and instead I reworked the automatic bot filling process. The new system will add a couple of bots if the league doesn’t fill in a week and then will gradually add more throughout the next few weeks as long as the league is at least half full. I also improved how the bots will use players they acquire. I know bots are not the best solution, but most people seem to agree they are a better solution than deleting long existing leagues or shrinking the number of teams in leagues.

Too many candies in the candy store now...

Re: Did you flip a switch Guy?

@gbacci, not sure this new method of adding bots to a league is a good thing. I am in league 1389 and we had 6 returning teams. I noticed that within a few weeks, three bot teams were added automatically. Then another. Now, a team called WALLE-2 was added and is actually a fifth bot team. If we don't get a twelfth owner, will another bot team be added? Bad enough we have 5 bot teams but, if a sixth is added, why bother playing when every team will make the playoffs...the bot rosters are not even competitive.

Please revisit this change. How about a mix of the old versus new? Initially, add two bot teams when 8 owners are reached allowing time for two more human owners to join. After a week or so, add another bot team...until the league is eventually filled. Just a thought.

Thanks, Larry

Re: Did you flip a switch Guy?

Agreed Larry. The idea is to only get beyond 4 bots if the league is really struggling to fill up. I will examine the logic to make sure it’s working properly.

Thanks Guy, I appreciate you looking into it. And, I really do love the site.
