I read where the chairperson of Lenovo thought a monthly subscription MOUSE would be very popular, mine has a cord... not really, but EVERYTHING is subscription now, harder to get, and not cheap.
I can't speak for all, and the site IS free, I have the limited ads version, for a really relatively small amount for the amount of content offered, if you can pay the small fee.
If you can't well that's fine too, it has always been a free site, not much free anymore
