Just saw a highlight to the right, zack greinke struckout 19 in 7 2/3 innings, and he lost!!! That got me wondering, has anyone on here ever lost a game when your pitcher threw a nohitter ?

Back in the early 90s when the Yankees were terrible they had a pitcher named Andy Hawkins throw a no-hitter...and lose the game 4-0.

I meant here on this site. MLB has since changed the rules stating a no hitter has to be 9 innings and hawkins only pitched 8 , still an odd achievement. in 1964 ken johnson of the astros went the distance and lost, and harvey haddix doesnt count because he gave up a hit

2017 Matt Olson is literally the greatest power hitter to step foot on the planet in this game. He consistently puts up rediculous home run numbers, can't say I love this, but I certainly wouldn't complain

Another 8 inning no hitter was Matt Young with the Red Sox, April 12th, 1992. He lost 2-1 at Cleveland.
