I have to say and not trying to be negative but I am trying basketball for really the first time, currently in 3 active leagues and so far I think it is very unrealistic, to the point it's not much fun.
Hopefully things will change

Much like the baseball game, it takes some time to understand the basketball engine. And also like baseball, all the teams are loaded. So while you may think you have a great lineup, so does everyone else.

In basketball I’ve noticed you need good role players. You can’t dismiss rebounds or steals or blocks - having leaders in those categories is almost essential.

If you could point out what aspects you think are unrealistic that could help us try to explain what might be going on.
