SWITCH 2 THE FUTURE

AGE EDITS (PC/bbref.com Discrepancy)
**When importing players, PC is taking them from the Baseball-reference.com database, often, for an unknown reason, players are aged 1-2 yrs. In a Classic Progression league like ours, this can be problematic. You're literally being robbed of player progressions. To avert this, all owners are asked to skim through their rosters for any age discrepancies. Its not mandated, but it's only going to help your club. I will edit all ages to their correct number upon request. It is ENTIRELY up to the owner. ***

STAT SWITCH AHEAD ONE SEASON (Each franchise can select one new import each season to change their stats to the following season, three players can be chosen for the inaugural season. Stats are edited to match that season. Age and Import Year will remain the same.)
Player MUST meet following criteria :

HITTERS: May not exceed 300 AB in import season. Following season must be with at least 200 AB to qualify.
SP's: May not exceed 100 IP in import season. Following season must be with at least 75 IP to qualify.
RP's: May not exceed 40 IP in import season. Following season must be with at least 25 IP to qualify.

FUTURE IMPORT YEARS

During each off-season, all 16 franchises will receive imports from the designated year previously assigned by the Commish. This will include any rookies, or players in their first year with the franchise and/or with the franchise in that particular year and not currently in the league. There will be no duplicate players. Any new imports traded during the season in question automatically go to the first team they accrued a G, AB or IP. No exceptions.

Latest Public Board Post
5/19/2024 Thank you Commishgbacci
I forgot, it sounds like game was still tied, so the DR wouldn't have been in effect anyway since it's not a "protect the lead" situation.

This is kind of a hard one... if you're in a tie game late, do you want the offensive PH to stay in if he can play the position or not? You could argue either side of it. I could understand why at SS you may want the defensive player, but it can get gray depending on how big the difference is between the players. If you have some slugging pinch hitter who can play the pos as a secondary you may want that hitter's bat in extra innings.
