1995 - Kirk Bragg 10-6 win over Todd Menzies

Williams outburst not enough to carry Royales, Bernie Williams blasted 2 homers, but it wasn't enough to lift the Royales over the Angels. California won by a score of 10-6. Gregg Jefferies had a big game as well, knocking in 3 runs for California while recording 3 hits. Bragg has now won 4 consecutive titles which is the most in a row since PC began. Game 6 was dramatic with bases loaded and no outs Hector Villanueva doubles off of Tsunemi Tsuda scoring Hal Morris and Tony Fernandez. Cheol-Sun Bak picks up the win going 7.2 innings striking out 4 | Series win for Bragg 4-2 over Tom and takes the title.

1991 - Brian "Hams" Geary 6-2 over Todd Menzies

Game 7 was as advertised Mark Langston went 8.2 IP with 7 K's for the win Dale Murphy, Wally Joyner and Sun-Rae Kim each with 2 run homers | Series win for Hams 4-3 over Stump and takes the title after losing it to Stump last season.

1990 - Todd Menzies 2-1 over Brian 'Hams' Geary

Stump won his last 10 games to finish 111-59 for the season amazing year! | Series win for Menzies 4-0 over Hams

1989 - Kirk Bragg 2-0 over Tim Kirchhoefer

Cardinals fall to Angels despite Langston's efforts, Mark Langston whiffed 8 batters, but the Angels managed to beat the Cardinals, 2-0. Hiromi Makihara was on fire, allowing just 2 hits over 8 innings for California. | Series win for Bragg 4-1 over Kooch

Durham blasts off, leads Y'alls to win. Leon 'Bull' Durham blasted 2 homers, lifting the Y'alls to a 6-3 win over Kooch's. Dwight Gooden struckout 10 Kooch's batters in the contest. | Series win for Myles 4-2 over Kooch

1987 - Shad Coppock 9-4 over Tim Kirchhoefer

Alan Trammel smacked 4 hits while Reggie Jackson and Will Clark each hit home runs and each drove in 3. Bob Welch did just enough on the mound and Motoyasu Kaneshiro picks up the win in relief. Cop win series 4-3

1986 - Chris Gorr 6-3 over Menzies

Royales can't contain Yoshimura, fall 6-3
Sadaaki Yoshimura was on his game, knocking in 3 runs in North Texas's 6-3 victory over the Royales. Yoshimura also had 3 hits in the game. Gorr wins series 4-2

1985 - Todd Menzies 6-2 over Gorr

Frank Tanana was dominant again in the World Series game 7. He gave up 2 runs and picked up his 2nd WS win of the series. Beard with the save which is his 2nd of the WS. Stump's team picks up the win and 1985 title with a 4-3 series win.

1984 - Brett Myles 3-2 over Bragg (15 innings)

Cesar Cedeno singles in the bottom of the 15th inning to plate Harmon Killabrew to walk off game 7 of the World Series. Greg Harris picks up the win. Myles continues his comeback ways even though he whines alot when he is losing.

1983 - Colton Adams 8-0 over Bragg

Blue blanks California with 8-0 shutout
California is hoping not to see Vida Blue again for a long while. Blue went the distance, leading Wisconsin to a 8-0 victory. Darrell Evans hit 2 homers in the contest. | Darrell Evans last 5 games .500, 4HR's with 7 RBI's.

Ripken powers Knuckleballs to win over Udder Tuggers. Cal Ripken blasted 2 homers, lifting the Knuckleballs to a 8-1 win over Wisconsin.

I forgot, it sounds like game was still tied, so the DR wouldn't have been in effect anyway since it's not a "protect the lead" situation.

This is kind of a hard one... if you're in a tie game late, do you want the offensive PH to stay in if he can play the position or not? You could argue either side of it. I could understand why at SS you may want the defensive player, but it can get gray depending on how big the difference is between the players. If you have some slugging pinch hitter who can play the pos as a secondary you may want that hitter's bat in extra innings.
